Daily Log-Wk 2

June 8 - Fri.
Breakfast:  egg scramble + fresh berries
Lunch:  London Broil, broccoli
Dinner:  Cottage Cobb (Green salad w/ hard boiled egg, turkey, bacon, beets) + 1/4 dill pickle
Snack: almond butter
Water: 4 x 16 oz
Sleep:  8hrs.
Exercise:  -0-, unless shifting around in the car or laundry count ;-)

June 9 - Sat.
Brunch:  2 eggs, spinach, tomato
Dinner:  Tri tip and grilled veggies
Snack:  almond butter, almonds, one square of dark chocolate bacon
Water:  5 x 16oz
Sleep:
Exercise:  I ran errands in the morning and napped all afternoon, except for a few pulls on my pull up bar.

June 10 - Sun.
Breakfast: egg, broccoli
Lunch:  chicken salad from Grana (baby greens, hb egg, vinaigrette)
Dinner: BBQ chicken thigh, broccoli, tomato
Snack: almond butter
Water: 5 x 16oz.
Sleep:  napped a couple hours + 8 hours
Exercise: a little yard work in the morning
*had a headache all afternoon (from the wind?) so drank more water and slept

June 11 - Mon.
Breakfast:  2 eggs, mini Aidell's sausage, broccoli
Lunch:  chicken thigh, broccoli, tomato
Dinner: chicken thigh, salad w/tomato, balsamic
Snack: -0-
Water: 5 x 16oz
*felt sleepy again and napped much of the day!
Sleep: 9 hours
Exercise:  pulled weeds and raked,
workout--WOW! Justin, that was kinda scary!  I continued to feel weak, but pulse and blood pressure stayed high (for me) :-)

June 12 - Tues.
After yesterday's heat stroke (!) I decided I'd better get myself acclimated and get moving in the heat...
I took my dog for a brisk walk (foot still giving me a little trouble), did a couple hours of yard work (felt a little light-headed, and drank a lot of water...
Breakfast: 2 eggs, mini Aidell's sausage, broccoli
Lunch:  1/2 chicken tostada (lettuce, tomato, chicken) from La hacienda
Dinner:  the other half of the tostada :-)
Snack:  almond butter
Water:  6 1/2 x 16oz
Sleep:  8 hours
Exercise: (see above) plus rolling and shoulder mobility

June 13 - Wed.
Breakfast:  2 eggs, sm V8 juice
Lunch: 1/2 chicken tostada
Dinner:  1/2 NY steak, broccoli
Snack: almonds
Water:  7 x 16 oz
Sleep:  8hours
Exercise: 2hrs. yardwork, vacuuming, hip mobility, shoulder mobility, 15 counter push ups :-), workout,

June 14 - Thurs.
Breakfast:  SoC Nirvana (2eggs, bacon, fruit), coffee
Lunch:  1/2 NY steak, broccoli
Dinner:  1/2 chicken tostada
Snack:  almonds, almond butter
Water:  6.5 x 16 oz
Sleep:  6.5 hours (no idea why...beef at night?)
Exercise:  errands, fixed sprinklers, a little pruning, short bike ride in the evening...
*I checked my heart rate midday after coming in from the heat: 130.  Yikes!  I lay down and it dropped to 90 in about five minutes.
